Richard Ardolino

Rich was an Engineer and Project Manager professional at the New York Power Authority for over 30-years. In addition to being the first Project Manager for the Niagara Project Upgrade, Rich rose to be the Vice President of Engineering having started in Operations Engineering decades earlier. Rich went on to be Vice President, Transmission and Substation at AECOM responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in design and construction. Rich joined Woodhouse Partnership, North America and participates in aligning organization towards ISO 55000 and many reliability studies supporting DST.

Garth Bird

With 30+ years of experience and growth with a major Canadian upstream oil and gas company, Garth ultimately achieved a world-class level of expertise in Operations Excellence as Global Operations Excellence Manager/Manager Major Projects.

Accomplished and forward-thinking visionary, with a proven track record of success and recognized as an influential strategist and corporate enabler, with success in unifying organizations under a vision rooted in Asset Management and Operations Excellence.

Richard Blackman

Richard Blackman is a chartered engineering consultant with a wealth of asset management, operational and maintenance experience gained in industry since 1992.

He started his career in the Nuclear Power Industry and then spent 10 years working in pharmaceuticals reaching senior manager level. He is customer-focused, results-driven and commercially guided, with excellent team and leadership skills.

Richard is a superb change manager and influencer, who is highly effective at all levels within an organisation

Patrick Bossert

Patrick is a specialist in data-enabled business transformation design and executive-level delivery governance to enable asset- and workforce-intensive organizations to deliver better customer and operational outcomes. He has 30 years of experience in the industry, working at the executive and board levels with critical national infrastructure organizations to shape and lead major value-realization programs with data and digital enablers at their core.

His core skills include Data strategy, Transformation design, Strategic roadmap development, Transformation governance and assurance, Transformation leadership, Business data services operating model design, Data skills and leadership development, and Leadership coaching, and mentoring.
Patrick is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Kevin Carman

With 42 years of service within the Energy sector (Bonneville Power Administration/Department of Energy), Kevin’s experience includes Construction, Maintenance, Operations, Supply Chain and Asset Management.

Kevin was instrumental in the development and implementation of the framework and design of Asset Management within the electricity sector, including 12 years of active support of the Department of Energy’s Infrastructure Security and Energy Restoration program. His experience as a skilled Crafts and Trades hourly worker combined with his Asset Management background gives him a unique perspective in developing “Bottom-up/Top-down” Asset Management program development to include policies, procedures, processes, and leading Change Management within an Organization.

Kevin has developed extensive Asset Management Objectives, Strategies and Plans; including leading reorganization efforts to obtain maximum efficiencies within the Energy Sector. Kevin is also a trained and skilled Root Cause Analysis practitioner.

Damien Carter

Over his 28 plus year span in the industrial sectors with working technical backgrounds in Project & Construction Management, Asset Operations and Maintenance Reliability Management, and being certified in various courses of study; Damien has gained the knowledge and experience and has had proven successes throughout his tenure in the Oil, Gas, Petro-Chemical and Construction sectors. Establishing his-self in the various sectors, Damien’s first experience and success started in the Construction Sector in estimating engineering. This was the stepping stone for Damien and has paved the way for his passion and continued success in supporting People, Process, and Systems in an organization.

Damien has held positions in local, international and multi-national corporations and comes from a working background in the fields of environmental, operations, project and construction management, operations maintenance and reliability management, planning, supervisory management, and has proven his abilities to succeed in each field.

Phillip Collins

Senior Manager with extensive asset management and regulatory experience developed within the energy and rail industries in both private and government owned frameworks.

Builds on and utilises experience and expertise to identify areas for improvement within a strategic planning and commercial management function and improves them to achieve first class status within the regulatory settlement.

Craig Demanuele

Craig has 28 years asset management experience spanning the utilities, petrochemical and transportation and housing sectors. Craig adopts a balanced approach, aligning top down strategies, with a bottom up practical hands on solutions.

He has 14 years’ experience delivering asset management transformations for major companies.

In addition, he has delivered asset management ISO 55001 development projects in the UK and Middle East, including several regional and national process and utility companies

Jose Duran

José Duran heads up The Woodhouse Partnership in Latin America.

He provides education and training, and consulting services for the oil and gas, energy, mining, process and manufacturing sectors.

He has been an active pioneer of asset management in Latin America, promoting PAS 55/ISO 55000 since its early developments.

He led the translation PAS 55:2008 into Spanish, also supporting the ISO 55000 translation. José delivers PAS 55/ISO 55000 related training and consulting services for many organisations in the oil, mining and power sectors throughout Latin America

Michael brings expertise in Asset Management Systems to assure integration of current and new best practices with continuous improvement focus.

He helps customers with a whole system vision giving them the opportunity to question the status quo and look for innovative solutions and improvement opportunities.

His orientation for results keeps his team in constant search for quick wins and long-term improvements that keeps the engagement in the change management process at all levels of the organization.

Norman Haggie

Norman is our North America Operations Director overseeing and providing support with the development and operations of the Woodhouse Partnership in North America and the Caribbean.

His focus is on introducing and educating clients on the latest techniques and successes to effectively and transparently manage their assets. This includes exploring suitable benefits on a case-by-case program to ensure client expectations are met, emphasizing pragmatic, sustainable culture changes required for all successful asset management initiatives.

Norman works with a core team of highly experienced North American-based Woodhouse Senior/Principal Consultants supported with additional resources from our other global offices.

Victoria Hogg BEng(Hons) MSc PhD FIEAust CPEng EngExec NER

Victoria is a Principal Consultant & our Product Manager for the SALVO Decision-Making Framework. 

She has over 20 years’ asset management experience, across transport, energy and defence sectors and is a specialist in asset management decision-making and risk management.

With plenty of hands-on experience developing optimized, risk-based asset maintenance and renewal strategies, and deploying these to develop multi-year investment plans, her industry positions include the Head of Asset Management (Electrical Utility), Manager Network Risk & Performance (Electrical Utility), Associated Director, Safety and Engineering Systems (Government Transport Agency), Team Leader, Asset & Risk Management Systems (Electrical Utility), Team Leader, Structural Safety, Risk & Reliability (Government Highways Agency)

Gabriel Kirwan

Gabriel’s practical approach developed over 28 years working in the electricity industry combines with a strong background in developing asset management solutions.

He has worked in Europe, China, North America and Latin America on a range of asset management-related activities such as gap analysis, road mapping, policy development, strategy development, root cause analysis and implementation of asset management systems.

A member of the ISO 55000 committee and his long involvement with the Institute of Asset Management have helped him to develop a broad, multi-industry knowledge.

Johanna López Durán

Johanna Duran is experienced in the application of management systems based on PAS 55 and ISO 55001 asset management standards.

She co-ordinated the implementation of quality & compliance strategies for standards and good practices across a wide variety of industries.

Able to handle multi-cultural teams and educate others about new tools, methodologies and work processes.

She has experience improving the integration of engineering departments with other disciplines. Leading and facilitating maintenance reviews and post-incident investigations using techniques, such as FMECA and root cause analysis.

Joe MacEnri

A chartered engineer, and a highly experienced senior power system professional, who has managed and worked in the electrical transmission and distribution fields for 30 years.

Working in diverse areas such as distribution engineering, asset management, power system studies, network planning and the integration of renewable technologies in distribution and transmission networks.

Winner of a prestigious Cigré Technical Committee award in 2005 for ‘outstanding contribution’ to a working group on the ‘Economics of Transformer Management’

Tom McDermott

As the director of asset management at the New York Power Authority, Tom framed the development of their asset management principles on PAS 55.

Tom expanded the horizon of performance engineering initiatives to develop a reliability centric (RCM) asset management programme for the Power Authority, integrating engineering and maintenance personnel into the asset management organization, cumulating in a strategic asset management plan for the entire organization.

Tom participates in various professional engineering and asset management societies and organisations.

Robinson Medina

Mechanical Engineer with 31 years of experience. Specialist in implementation processes of activities
associated with Asset Management under the ISO 55001 approach, Implementation of diagnostic
programs and audits of management systems, Specialist in applying reliability methodologies such as
Reliability-Centered Maintenance, risk-based inspection, Cause Analysis Root, Life Cycle Cost Analysis,
Condition Based Maintenance, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Mechanical Integrity among others.
He has been an Equipment Mechanical Integrity Engineer, an experienced user of traditional NonDestructive Testing such as Ultrasound, Infrared Thermography, Superficial Techniques, Industrial
Radiography.
He has led and participated in countless applications in the field of reliability and condition monitoring,
with special emphasis on the generation and execution of policies and maintenance plans aimed at
achieving the “minimum total business impact” guaranteeing Safety, Hygiene and Environment
standards.

Mark Norris

Mark is a Strategic Asset Management and Reliability consultant with a unique skill set having lived and breathed every part of the asset lifecycle from requirements to concept design, final design, prototype, development, reliability testing, new product introduction, warranty management, operation, and maintenance, refurbishment, renewal, replacement and disposal/ recycling as a supplier, asset manager or client.

Mark’s unique insight enables him to advise clients on Managing their Assets and their Asset Management Systems (AMS) or develop them by having delivered, embedded and had certified, a complete AMS to ISO55001, from Policy to Strategy to Plan, for a client with no prior experience in Asset Management.

With well over a decade of experience, and demonstrated competence across the full spectrum of Asset Management roles. Mark is a Registered Asset Management Professional, Fellow of the Institute of Asset Management (IAM), and Member, and Director of the IAM’s UK Chapter.

Martin Osborne

Martin has over 40 years’ experience working primarily in the water sector in consulting and research roles.

He specialises in asset management planning of sewerage and drainage systems including modelling system performance and developing operational and capital maintenance programmes. He has an international reputation for modelling of urban drainage systems. Recent innovative projects have included; active system control, the use of 2d flow modelling and calculating the value of flood risk from model results. Martin has also recently supported three water companies to develop their five-year strategic asset management plans for capital maintenance of treatment and pumping assets.

Martin has a great skill in recognising patterns that others do not see. Patterns in data and information, patterns in the way things are done, patterns in the words that people use or don’t use, and patterns in the way people talk or move or feel. He uses this skill to provide insight into current situations and so identify problems and limiting factors that are preventing individuals, organisations or analyses to achieve more

Dr Mike Owtram

Dr Mike Owtram is a seasoned business psychologist who works with leading companies to develop better leaders and more effective organizations.  He does this by helping them define, assess and develop the capabilities they need to succeed in today’s changing operating environment.

Mike spent the early part of his career in the global chemical industry, where he worked wide range of operational roles (including marketing, commercial, supply chain, and change management) before progressing onto executive management, where he led Finance, IT, and HR and Strategic Planning functions.  In 2000 he transitioned into consultancy, to which he brings his unique contribution of business experience and psychological insight to develop pragmatic, customer-focused solutions to a range of leadership and people challenges.

Genaro Perez

Genaro brings a long professional experience in which integrate his experience of several years dedicated to university teaching, his fifteen years worked in Siemens-Data in Austria, his 6 years worked in American company SSA inc and his more than 20 years dedicated to the consultancy.

He has had the opportunity to apply and improve these methodologies in his long years of work in the Chilean mining and PAS 55 and ISO 55000 projects with The Woodhouse Partnership Ltd.

This is further reinforced by his own experience as an executive in his years of General Manager and Executive Director of consulting companies.

Pedro Siblesz

With over 32 years of Asset Management, Reliability and, Mechanical Engineering experience in leadership, technical, and operational roles in Oil & Gas, and the Petrochemical industry. Pedro brings a proven track record of success in developing and implementing asset management processes and tools, to facilitate communication between engineers and managers, while establishing a direct connection between business objectives and frontline engineering and operational actions, with strong considerations of Fit for Purpose and Life Cycle cost factors.
Pedro is a strong advocate and Change Agent for cross-functional collaboration between departments orientated to achieve alignment of objectives for the development of efficient and effective asset management solutions.  Pedro heads up our Australiasia business unit. 

Susan Steyn

Susan Steyn is a seasoned expert with over 30 years of experience in Management, Operations, Business Development, and Supply Chain across diverse industries. Her core focus lies in spare parts management and inventory optimization. Throughout her career, Susan has held key leadership roles in multinational companies such as GE, Dow, Roche, Bayer, Lloyds Register, and Woodhouse Partnership.

With a strong background in strategic leadership, P&L management, and lean manufacturing, Susan has consistently driven business turnarounds and growth. She excels in international global business management and has a proven track record of expanding market presence and building strong client relationships.

As a Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP certified professional, Susan is adept at implementing process improvements and managing complex projects. Her expertise in data analysis, project management, and ERP systems ensures effective spare part management and optimal inventory levels.

Susan’s contributions to various companies include revenue growth, cost reduction, successful software launches, and the establishment of strategic alliances. Her commitment to diversity and inclusion, coupled with her leadership in team building and mentorship, have created a culture of excellence in every organization she has worked with.

Héctor Sulentic

Hector has more than 20 years of experience as Reliability Engineer and is an Asset Management professional oriented to the application of his knowledge and experience, in solving problems and improving the performance of the companies in which he provides his services.

Providing training, advice and support in various industries in Latin America including Oil & Gas, Mining, Utility Services (energy, water, transportation) and manufacturing sectors.

Prior to his role as consultant, he worked for six years for the Venezuelan Oil Industry in PDVSA E & P, playing various roles in the maintenance area.

Tony Thomas

Tony is a former Director of Asset Management and Performance with over 40 years’ experience in the power utility industry, both publicly and privately owned.

As the manager of one of the UK’s largest power plants he championed the completion of projects with a total value over £50M. before going on to lead the implementation of a new Asset Management system for SSE Thermal.

Having worked in all areas of electricity generation from the board room to the control room, Tony has a deep and wide understanding of the theoretical and practical application of the whole asset lifecycle.

Saulo Trento

Saulo is an Electrical and Energy Engineer with a history with electricity transmission in Brazil and France. He has strong education on technical and business aspects, with focus on the energy industry. Skilled in Asset Management, Risk Analysis, Substation Automation, as well as Data Analytics and Software Development. Innovative and results driven, he likes to work with others proactively to create value across the organizations he works with.

Howard Werden

Howard has over 40 years of transmission and distribution maintenance and operations experience in the electric utility industry.

Howard began his career as a lineman with Hydro One (Ontario Hydro) working in transmission and distribution. After relocating to Alberta as a Live Line crew lead with ATCO Electric he introduced 25kV high voltage rubber glove techniques and barehand techniques on 144 and 240kV systems. He was instrumental in the development of an in-house training facility for powerline technicians. Howard undertook the responsibility of centralizing distribution operations and maintenance overseeing the development of reliability centered maintenance programs, standardizing practices, and risk management across the distribution department as well as corporate responsibilities for fleet maintenance and vehicle standards and budgeting, powerline training, rights of way maintenance and work methods. This broad experience from apprentice to senior management provides a unique perspective and understanding of all levels of T&D operations and maintenance. 

Howard coordinated the ATCO Electric PAS 55 and ISO 55000 asset management assessment and road mapping project from 2010 to 2013 which included the development of a framework document, workstreams identification and employee training.  

As a participant of the ULC Standards Committee for Live Working and ULC Standard Committee on Electric Utility Workplace Electrical Safety he has been involved with the development of ULC Standards and adoption of ISO Live Working Standards. 

John Woodhouse

With 30 years’ experience in utilities, oil & gas, transport and other sectors, John is one of the most widely known experts in integrated asset management projects for some of the largest companies in the world.

John is a Founder and Life Fellow of the IAM; he has written 4 books, chaired the development of BSI PAS55 and represents the UK on the ISO55000 committee.

He also led the international MACRO and SALVO collaboration projects in optimised asset management decision-making.

George Galambos

George has over twenty-five years of experience as a consulting engineer providing design, planning, program and project management, and strategic asset management services for asset-intensive organizations in the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East. His primary focus has been in the public infrastructure sector; as a result, he has intimate knowledge of the assets, processes, and resources necessary to deliver and sustain safe, reliable services to the customers of public asset-owning organizations.

George has assisted organizations with the development of PAS 55, ISO 55000, and GFMAM AM Landscape aligned asset management systems (AMS), has performed gap analyses of their AMS against industry standards and best practices, and has guided them through the creation of strategic asset management plans (SAMPs), asset management plans (AMPs), AM policy and supporting documents. He has undertaken asset risk modelling to ascertain organizations’ capability to sustain their desired levels of service. George has performed asset health-informed lifecycle cost modelling and forecasting capital and operational expenditures over near and long-term planning horizons.
