Join Principal Consultants, Alex Thomson and Craig Demanuele, for the workshop…
‘Climate Change: An Asset Management Emergency!’
Climate change makes COVID 19 look like a minor irritation. It will affect our social fabric, our physical environment, our values, and almost all aspects of our lives – and the impacts are already becoming visible. So what can we do about it? This workshop will explore the mutual effects of Asset Management upon the environment, and the environment’s impact on Asset Management. We will explore how organisations can convert “good intention” words into tangible, business-case justified actions. This includes how long-term consequences can be built into short-term decisions, and how to ‘monetize’ the value of sustainability. This workshop is for any Asset Management practitioner needing to incorporate climate change, ‘net zero’ goals and other environmental considerations into their strategies, plans and practices.
Managing Director John Woodhouse said, “We are delighted to be sponsoring the IAM conference again this year as an outstanding platform for the sharing of knowledge, experience and innovation, and we look forward to meeting you there.”
