| David Gooda is a principal consultant with The Woodhouse Partnership Ltd and is a member of the Board of the Institute of Asset Management (IAM).
Until 2005 he was employed by AWG plc in a number of senior director roles both within the regulated water business, Anglian Water, and more recently a contracting operation, AWG Utility Management Ltd. He was also a non-executive director of Cambridge Sensors Ltd. Now operating as a consultant with The Woodhouse Partnership his specific areas of expertise is the utility sector, in particular the water industry and asset management. He has significant practical experience of asset management having been involved, in the creation, management and operation of assets, since starting his career in the early 1970s. He was involved in the IAM’s PAS 55 project (the Publicly Available Specification for the Optimised Management of Physical Infrastructure Assets). He was also joint leader of the IAM’s project on Asset Management Competency and is now leading the latest IAM project on how organisations can assess their compliance with PAS 55. David has a Degree in Civil Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. |
